From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot in command was flying his personal airplane with one passenger on board. Pilot attempted to land at Goldendale Airport (S20). Pilot lost control of aircraft while landing/rollout. The airplane verred off the runway and struck a taxiway light before descending down an embankment on the side of the runway. The airplane hit hard at the bottom of the embankment and broke the front landing gear, wing struts, and bent the propeller. The airplane came to rest upright, leaning to the left on the broken landing gear. Both pilot and passenger evacuated the airplane on the right side and escaped with minor injuries.
