From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft departed ktcy to krhv. At krhv pilot cleared for 31R placed landing light on, fuel pumps on and slowed to gear/flap speed placed gear handle in down position confirmed gear handle returned to the off position/3 greens and visual on nose wheel thru mirror on left engine nacelle. Landing was made on the main gear followed by the nose gear. As the nose gear contacted the runway and during rollout the pilot noticed it gave way and the pilots view was below normal. Pilot applied back pressure (elevator) to reduce speed of which nose was going down, engines at idle, the aircraft nose contacted ground and pilot kept the aircraft straight on center line. The pilot secured switched/levers and excited aircraft asap.
