IN FLIGHT THE CAPTAINS SIDE WINDSHIELD HEAT TERMINAL BLOCK BEGAN TO SMOKE AND STRONG ELECTRICAL BURNING. REMOVED AND REPLACED WINDSHIELD (LH) IAW CRJ 900 AMM. LEAK AND OPS CHECK GOOD.
