The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-16) The pilot stated that on landing, runway 27, Rolla downtown airport, the aircraft veered right then abruptly veered left. Full right rudder did not correct the left veering tendency. The aircraft continued into the grass and softer ground and groundlooped. A landing gear stablization wire had broken allowing the two main gear to operate independently making the aircraft uncontrollable. Suspect mechanical failure as caue of this accident. Substantial damage to the aircraft, no injuries.
