From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: the f/o was the flying pilot and his touchdown was smooth. The aircraft started to pull to the right. The captain took control and managed to bring the plane to the centerline. As the aircraft decelerated, it pulled harder to the right and then started to vibrate. The captain used the remaining momentum to steer off the runway on a paved section. The aircraft stopped clear of the runway and deplaned passengers. The aircraft sustained a right main tire deflation. No pilot deviation and no 8020.11 generated. No pd involved. Wings west airlines to submit s.d.r. this terminated this investigation and this report is closed.
