From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Pilot stated, depart williamsport regional (ipt) to Northeast Philadelphia (pne). Takeoff and flight were routine. In IMC conditions, cleared for approach, at outer marker extended landing. At this point all indications were normal. On short final, checked gear and saw middle landing gear light was out. Executed missed approach and retracted landing gear and flaps. Extended gear again and failure to get a three green lights. Went through emergency procedures to extend gear and also blew the CO2 bottle as I was once again cleared for ILS 24 approach. After verifying that I had three green landing gear lights, he landed and rolled down the runway on what seemed like a normal roll out. During roll out left wing started to slowly drop to the ground and the aircraft came to a stop a few seconds later. Notified tower of what happened and shut the master switch off before safely exiting the aircraft. Investigation noted a failed left gear door actuator. M&d submitted by operator. This incident considered closed.
