From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) On December 16, 2008, at approximately 1830 hours EST, N77, a Beech 300, landed at Palm Beach International Airport, pbi. After taxiing clear of the runway ATC clearance was received and a turn was initiated onto the appropriate taxi way. The turn required was almost a reversal of direction and pilot not flying informed the pilot at controls to turn right onto the taxiway. Because he repeated this instruction, the pilot at the controls thought an immediate right turn was required and turned. The aircraft taxied off the right side of the taxiway and the propeller and right main landing gear impacted a taxi way marking light. The impact resulted in minor damage which the crew noted on post flight inspection at the fixed base operator (FBO). Pbi airport authority was then notified of the incident.
