From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The aircraft was inbound for landing at approximately 15 NM from (cid). The pilot noted the fuel pressure indication was flashing and the value read 3.0 PSI (6-7 PSI is normal). The fuel tank selector switch was set on the right tank. The engine eventually stopped. The pilot declared an emergency and landed in a farm field. It was observed during the post inspection of the aircraft fuel system that the fuel selector valve lines were installed incorrectly during the replacement of the valve prior to the incident.
