From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot was on final approach to runway 15. This was the only operational runway. There was a crosswind which was close to the max demonstrated for the aircraft. The pilot stated that he was concerned about the crosswind landing and this took his attention away from his pre landing checklist. Due to his being distracted by the crosswind he forgot to extend his landing gear. Due to noise cancelling headphones he was unaware of the gear up horn warning which was operational. The aircraft landed gear up and slid off the runway hitting a runway taxi light with the left wing causing minor damage to the wing leading edge. Aircraft sustained minimal damage to the belly skin.
