Canandaigua airport, NY (D38):commutair flight 770, a DH8, diverted and landed on runway 31 due to a fire in the lavatory and smoke in the cockpit. The pilot was able to taxi off the runway and onto a taxiway where the passengers were deplaned. The ontario county, NY fire department responded and resolved the issue at the uncontrolled airport with no further information.
