Kahului, HI (ogg): N335SP, C172, cleared for touch and go on rwy 5. N335SP then had 2 hard bounces on touchdown and veared off to the left of rwy 5 into the grass. ARFF was training at the hazmat adjacent to rwy 5 and responded immediately to N335SP. ARFF and aoc reported pilot was not injured, no damage to aircraft or airport. At 2007Z aircraft taxied back to parking POB: 1, injuries: none, damage: none, 7/10 1922Z

Upon inspection of the aircraft it was found that the engine fire wall was damaged.

KAHULUI, HI (OGG): N335SP, C172, CLEARED FOR TOUCH AND GO ON RWY 5. N335SP THEN HAD 2 HARD BOUNCES ON TOUCHDOWN AND VEARED OFF TO THE LEFT OF RWY 5 INTO THE GRASS. ARFF WAS TRAINING AT THE HAZMAT ADJACENT TO RWY 5 AND RESPONDED IMMEDIATELY TO N335SP. ARFF AND AOC REPORTED PILOT WAS NOT INJURED, NO DAMAGE TO AIRCRAFT OR AIRPORT. AT 2007Z AIRCRAFT TAXIED BACK TO PARKING POB: 1, INJURIES: NONE, DAMAGE: NONE, 7/10 1922Z

UPON INSPECTION OF THE AIRCRAFT IT WAS FOUND THAT THE ENGINE FIRE WALL WAS DAMAGED.
