From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Per the airman's statement, the airman flew from meadow lake airport (kfly) in Colorado to the Oklahoma city airport (kokc) on December 10, 2018. He became unstablized during the approach after ATC had asked the airman to change runways. Upon landing at okc, the airplane porpoised before settling on the runway.

In an effort not to repeat that error, on his return trip, the airman planned on a fuel stop at the west woodward, Oklahoma airport (kwwr). The airplane again porpoised and the airman initiated a go-around, and decided to continue to Liberal, Kansas (klbl).

On the landing attempt at Liberal, the airman was fixating on airspeed and the final approach, that the airman neglected to confirm the landing gear was extended.
