From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Arriving on 33 from a simulated single engine approach, I retracted the flaps and advised the flying pilot she had 3200 feet of runway remaining and to complete the touch and go previously briefed. Reaching full power, we were exchanging of the throttles we experienced a slight pitch down and shimmy. Believing we had a blown nose wheel tire I requested controls and pitched up to fly. I advised her the check ride was discontinued to meet the emergency. I left the gear extended and not wanting to jam the blown tire in the wheel well. I had her reference the landing with a defective nose gear. After landing I saw the prop tips were curled.
