From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot in command (PIC) statement indicates normal approach with three gear down and locked indications. PIC opted for short field landing due to ground traffic holding short. PIC stated that he went into flare aproximately five feet off the ground and that stall warning activated. He experienced a hard landing after which the main gear down and locked indication extinguished. He proceeded to an adjacent taxiway and shutdown due to the unsafe gear indication. Aircraft was towed to a ramp. He authorized the delivery vehicle to back up to the aircraft and freight unloading to commence. During unloading the left main gear collapsed, damaging the aircraft including left main gear doors, #1 engine propeller, dorsal fin.
