What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
While taxing to runup area, the A75/G pilot inadvertently collided with Piper PA-28-161, privacy data omitted, which was performing a runup on the taxiway. The lower right wing leading edge of the taxing aircraft collided with the right-wing leading edge of the Piper PA-28-161 performing the runup. The height of the low wing nearly matched the height of the Piper wing providing straight on level impact. Approximately 60% of the leading edge of both aircraft wings that made contact were damaged. The wooden spar of right lower wing on the A75/G appeared to have significant damage. The Piper wing leading-edge and wing tip were damaged but there did not appear to be structural damage.
