From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Local family farm pilot son & part privacy data omitted of aircraft was spraying their farm field under a high-tension power line. Attempted to climb over the power line and misjudged, unable to out climb, so tried to fly under the top wires and over the lower wires. The vertical fin caught on the first upper wire and tore the vertical from the fuselage., slowing the aircraft enough to stall it. Then pan-caking it into the field just on the other side of the wire lines. North to south in this case.
