From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Pilot stated that he was completing his biannual flight review with a certified flight instructor (CFI) from wings aloft. The pilot stated that he had forgot to put the gear down while on final approach to the Shelton airport. The pilot stated that they had been practicing touch & go's and on this landing he was to execute a short field landing. The pilot stated that he heard the stall warning horn going off, but did not hear the landing gear horn. After skidding to a stop, the CFI asked the pilot if he heard him call for "go around." The pilot stated that he did not hear the CFI make this request.
