What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
During pushback from C40 a delta service van (widget bus) made contact with the aircraft's left wing. No passengers or crew were injured. The aircraft sustained damage to the left winglet, left navigation light and a left wing static eliminator. Adjacent to the C40 parking space is a widget entry point which the bus turned on to just as the aircraft was starting the pushback. Because of the left wingwalker's position he was unable to signal to the tug driver of the bus entering the widget entry point. The wing collided with the bus.
